Join us for the launch party of Q. Sakamaki’s new book Tompkins Square Park at the powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn on Wednesday August 6th, 6:30 - 9:00. The book focuses on the anti-gentrification movement in the late 80’s and early 90’s in Manhattan’s East Village.

Come celebrate the launch of Q. Sakamaki’s new book, War DNA, and see a slideshow of recent work, this Sunday at The Bubble Lounge.
The annual American Illustration and American Photography party was held last Thursday to honor the winners. Sakamaki’s Sri Lanka and Nathaniel Welch’s “The Great Yank-Euro Ski-Off”.
