Nina Berman photographed maximum-security prison SCI Muncy for the August 31, 2008 issue of The Sunday Times Magazine.

Nina Berman’s portraits of some members of the group Iraq Veterans Against the War appeared in the March 2, 2008 issue of The Sunday Times Magazine. They will be testifying to atrocities they witnessed in Iraq at the Winter Soldier gathering in Washington D.C. this month. See the portraits on the Redux Archive.

Nina Berman’s photographs of Jacob Hanna, a young boy who suffers from a disorder called selective mutism, were featured in the February 18, 2008 issue of People Magazine.

The annual American Illustration and American Photography party was held last Thursday to honor the winners. Nina Berman photographed Rachel Thebault and daughter Marin, in addition to other mothers who have found ways to blend work with family, for the cover story of the September 3, 2007 issue of U.S. News.
