The next show at Redux Gallery will be Driftless: Photographs from Iowa by Danny Wilcox Frazier. This work was recently awarded the biennial Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography. The Opening & Book Signing is Thursday, February 21st, 6:30 – 8:30 PM. We’re pleased to announce that the next Redux Gallery show will be Young Blood, photographs by Erika Larsen capturing the hunting experiences of children. The opening will be held Thursday, January 17, 2008 6:30–8:30 PM, with the work on display until February 1st.

Come celebrate the launch of Q. Sakamaki’s new book, War DNA, and see a slideshow of recent work, this Sunday at The Bubble Lounge.

The Magenta Foundation is hosting an opening of emerging photographers from Canada, the UK and the USA, among them, our Christopher LaMarca. Opening night is Thursday, November 29 from 6-8pm at Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts (508 West 26th Street, Suite 5A). The exhibit will be up until December 22, 2007.

On Monday, October 15th, Seen/Unseen is presenting “Underreported” at the Bubble Lounge; details are available at http://seenunseen.org. This show is curated by Jake Price and Jamie Wellford, photo editors at Newsweek.
