Join us for the launch party of Q. Sakamaki’s new book Tompkins Square Park at the powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn on Wednesday August 6th, 6:30 - 9:30. The book focuses on the anti-gentrification movement in the late 80’s and early 90’s in Manhattan’s East Village.

An opening for Joshua Lutz’s work Meadowlands will be held in DUMBO in conjunction with The Tierney Fellowship and The New York Photo Festival. The opening reception will be Thursday, May 15th, from 5-7 PM, with the work on display May 14th - May 18th, at the Tobacco Warehouse Pavilion at Water St. & New Dock Street, Brooklyn.

The powerhouse arena will host an opening reception both celebrating the release of Christopher Lamarca’s new book “Forest Defenders: The Confrontational American Landscape”, as well as the opening of a new exhibit coinciding with Earth Day, Shifting Landscapes, featuring work by Lamarca and Joshua Lutz, as well as Olaf Otto Becker, Edward Burtynsky, David Maisel, and Simon Norfolk.
