The next show at Redux Gallery will be Driftless: Photographs from Iowa by Danny Wilcox Frazier. This work was recently awarded the biennial Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography. The Opening & Book Signing is Thursday, February 21st, 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Jesse James and His Beautiful Machines: Photographs by Nathaniel Welch, published by PowerHouse Books. These photographs ran in the December 07/January 08 issue of Riders Magazine.
Several Redux photographers have images published in Blue Planet Run: The Race to Provide Safe Drinking Water to the World. The book is a result of two projects, one to find images capturing the face of the global water crisis, and the other a 95-day nonstop relay race around the globe to raise awareness of the water crisis. Above pages: Christopher Brown, Samantha Reinders, and Lou Dematteis (2). Also published were photographs by Mark Leong, REA photographer Nicholas Tavernier, and New York Times photographers Uli Seit, Ruth Fremson, and Jim Wilson.

A new cookbook photographed by Sheri Giblin has been released, Yummy Potatoes. Giblin will begin shooting another project for Chronicle Books this month, Tiny Bubbles, about champagne cocktail & appetizer recipes.
